Our carers are fully trained and will strive to preserve and maintain the dignity, individuality and privacy of all service users within a warm and caring atmosphere and in doing so will be sensitive to the Services Users' ever-changing needs. Such needs may be medical/therapeutic (for physical and mental welfare), cultural, psychological, spiritual, emotional and social.

We aim to provide our service users with a secure and relaxed environment in which their wellbeing and comfort are of prime importance. We achieve this through activities designed to encourage mental alertness, self-esteem and social interaction with others, and with recognition of the following core values of care which are fundamental to the philosophy of our home.

Oak Cottage is situated in a very pleasant part of Hertfordshire and stands in its own delightful and extensive gardens.
